I am a passionate learner specializing in Software Engineering and AI. During my studies, I found a great interest in math and finance subjects. This interest led me to discover the field of Financial Engineering, which combines various disciplines such as statistics, programming, and finance.
Eager to enter this sector in the future, I started learning basic programming with Python, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). By the end of my degree, equipped with a broader set of programming skills and thanks to WQU, I was able to enroll in the DS lab. Through eight practical projects in the lab, I gained foundational knowledge in Data Science.
Thanks to the DS lab, I was able to complete a very competitive final degree project that applied data mining, data cleaning, and machine learning techniques.
Simultaneously, I recognized the need for more advanced engineering skills in this technical field. With this goal in mind, I applied to 42Madrid, a school that is part of a global network known for its unique teaching methodology. At 42Madrid, learning is peer-to-peer, with no conventional teachers. Prospective students must first undergo a 26-day piscine, where they experience the methodology firsthand. All learning at 42 is project-based, primarily using C/C++, covering tasks from recreating basic libc functions to building games or custom terminals.
In addition to my formal education at 42, I continue to pursue self-learning opportunities, as I enjoy facing new challenges on my journey to becoming highly skilled in this field.
